Joe Hanes has been passionate about Wood for many years. He has built homes from start to finish. He has had a complete wood shop for many years. He designs and makes furnitue and has been working along side his wife creating and improving looms. Now he has been adding Exotic and Broomstick needles throughout the last 7 years. His disigns are simple, that emphasize the beauty and beauty marks of the exotic woods, like, ebony, walnut, osage orange, cherry etc. He is strong in believing to reclaim wood and make something beautiful and very functional with what he finds. He finishes in an all natural rubbed on oil with essential oils blended in. He also has finished his looms and furniture with a natural beeswax finish that he has created and rubbed into the wood for years.
