Joe Hanes has been passionate about Wood for many years. He has built homes from start to finish. He has had a complete wood shop for many years. He designs and makes furnitue and has been working along side his wife creating and improving looms. Throughout the last 7 years he has been adding Exotic wood and Broomstick knitting needles. His disigns are simple, that emphasize the beauty marks of the exotic woods, like, ebony, tiger wood, osage orange, brazilian cherry etc. He strongly believes in reclaiming wood and makeing something beautiful and very functional with what he finds. He finishes everything in an all natural rubbed on oil with essential oils blended in.
